WELCOME TO THE BACKSTAGE//PRESS - A South Central Pennsylvania Music and Entertainment Magazine!
Several years ago, we started 315 Artist Management with the goal of helping local and unsigned bands who were serious about their music and wanted to build a career in the industry. We believed then – and still do now – that here in South Central Pennsylvania, we are surrounded by some very solid talent representing a wide variety of genres – from rock to pop and indie to hip/hop and all points in between.
Our area can boast of a strong reputation across the country as being a region where a musician can work their craft in front of receptive and excited audiences. York, Lancaster, Adams and Dauphin counties can claim bragging rights to have hosted some of the biggest names in the industry in venues ranging from The Giant Center, The Chameleon Club, Dragonfly and The Strand to Fat Daddy's. And, we have given birth to some great acts – such as Halestorm and Live - over the past few years who have broken big and enjoyed success. We are surrounded by a cottage industry of support for live music and the musician that consists of terrific venues, recording studios, CD Duplicators/Replicators and a multitude of other companies that support the musician in helping them develop their career and talent and ultimately bring their best to you.
Backstage//Press will highlight selected bands and musicians in each issue. And, we'll throw in a centerfold for you as well! No, it won't be a half-naked lady (sorry guys, but we're a family magazine) but a pull out poster of the band that graces our cover. You will also find us taking a closer look at the businesses around us that support music and the musician as well as you, the audience. In our pages, there will be articles on local restaurants, venues, tattoo shops, the internet, movies and more! If it's entertainment related, it'll eventually find it's way onto our pages and into your hands.
Our magazine is an advertiser supported project that we are bringing to you free of charge. We will publish Backstage//Press bi-monthly and make it available to you at a variety of outlets around Harrisburg, York and Lancaster.
